Palm Oil Diesel Tracking

Quota-based fuel dispensing system with real-time anomaly detection, remote oversight dashboard, and intelligent theft prevention.

Palm Oil Diesel Tracking
01

Control starts at the dispensing point

For a palm oil plantation, diesel is an operating resource that needs to be both available and accountable. Knowing the level in a tank is only part of the picture. The more useful questions are who drew fuel, how much they were allowed to take, and whether a transaction needs attention.

This project brings those questions into a connected dispensing and monitoring system. Its focus is on controls at the point of use, supported by the information teams need to review activity remotely.

02

From observation to controlled access

A monitoring-only approach can flag a loss after fuel has already left the tank. The system pairs that visibility with operator authentication and dispensing quotas, making permission and volume part of the transaction itself.

NFC/RFID identification links dispensing to an operator. Pump control applies the configured quota, while the touchscreen gives the operator a clear view of the active session. These functions connect the physical dispensing equipment with the software record.

03

Designed for the field and the office

The field interface and the remote dashboard serve different jobs. Operators need to authenticate and dispense fuel; supervisors need to review consumption, manage access, and investigate unusual activity. The system connects these workflows without asking every user to work from the same screen.

Offline-capable operation also matters at the dispensing point. Transactions are stored locally when connectivity drops and synchronized when it returns, so the record can catch up with work in the field.

04

A connected record of fuel use

The solution combines IoT hardware, quota-based dispensing, cloud analytics, and anomaly detection. Together, they provide a way to trace fuel transactions and bring exceptions to the team's attention, rather than relying on tank levels alone.

The aim is practical accountability: clearer records for review, controlled dispensing for operators, and remote oversight for the people responsible for fuel use.

Fuel Monitoring System

View Full Solution

Monitor fuel levels, detect anomalies, and optimize consumption across your operations. Our IoT-powered solution provides accurate real-time data to reduce costs and prevent fuel theft.

Monitoring

  • Real-time Level Monitoring

Track fuel levels across all tanks and vehicles with live dashboard updates.

  • Theft Detection & Alerts

Automatic alerts when abnormal consumption patterns or sudden drops are detected.

  • Consumption Analytics

Detailed reports and trends to optimize fuel usage and budgeting.

  • Multi-site Dashboard

Centralized view of all locations and assets from a single dashboard.

Dispensing control

  • Touchscreen Control Panel

Intuitive touchscreen interface at each dispensing point for operators to authenticate, select quotas, and monitor dispensing in real time.

  • Quota-Based Fuel Dispensing

Automatic pump control with configurable quotas per operator. Prevents over-dispensing and enforces fuel budgets in real time.

  • NFC/RFID Operator Authentication

Operators tap their card to identify themselves before dispensing. Every transaction is tied to a verified individual for full accountability.

Operations

  • Industrial-Grade Sensors

Purpose-built sensors designed for harsh environments — fuel-resistant, weatherproof, and calibrated for precision measurement in the field.

  • Offline-Capable Operation

The device continues operating even without internet connectivity. Transactions are stored locally and synced automatically when the connection is restored — no downtime.

  • Centralized Access Control

Head office manages operator permissions, quotas, and site access remotely — no need to rely on on-site supervisors for access changes.

Make unusual usage visible. Put daily limits in place.

Connect each dispensing transaction to an operator, review usage patterns, and enforce a daily quota. Together, these controls help administrators investigate exceptions and limit exposure to excessive fuel use.

  1. 01

    Know who used the fuel

Operator authentication links dispensing activity to a named user. Administrators can trace transactions back to the person operating the system.

  2. 02

    Spot unusual operator activity

Compare recorded usage and transaction patterns to identify operators whose activity needs review. An unusual pattern is a signal to investigate, not proof of misconduct.

  3. 03

    Enforce a daily quota

Set a daily fuel allowance per operator. The system enforces that limit during dispensing, helping cap the risk of excessive usage rather than only discovering it afterward.

Quotas help control exposure; effective loss prevention also depends on appropriate limits and timely administrator review.
